The Mini Story is a webshop specializing in toys for sensory, educational, and open-ended play. After a recent acquisition, they partnered with Hunt Branding to refresh their brand identity. Early on in the brand proposal process, Hunt commissioned me to develop an illustrative style to fully capture the essence of the Mini Story: playful curiosity.
Their offering centers around the belief that play is the engine of growth. To evoke an inviting world full of curiosity and wonder, I created a diverse cast of lively characters radiating childlike enthusiasm as they explore their world through play, experimentation, and a lot of fun. The result? A visual language, beaming with contagious joy and humor, bringing smiles to the faces of both kids and adults.
To date, I’ve designed over 20 illustrations and 45 icons, each contributing to an expressive visual language that’s uniquely The Mini Story. It communicates the diverse concepts of play The Mini Story offers in a way that is accessible and engaging—from their website and social media to the package that lands on your doorstep—making every interaction feel like an invitation to join the fun.
